KNX comes in wired and wireless flavours. Where cable can be run easily – during a partial renovation, in an accessible roof space, or in a section being updated – we install the wired KNX bus for maximum reliability. Where running cable would mean cutting into finished walls, we use KNX RF, the wireless version of the standard. Wired and wireless KNX work together in the same system, so we mix them to suit your home.
Start with what matters most
You do not have to do everything at once. Many retrofits begin with lighting control – the change you notice every day – then add climate, blinds, security and energy over time. Because KNX is modular and open, expanding later is straightforward.
Working with what you already have
If your home already has a system like Clipsal C-Bus, Philips Dynalite or DALI, you may not need to start from scratch. KNX can often integrate with existing systems, or we can plan a staged migration – protecting the investment already in your home. We assess what you have and recommend the most sensible path.
