GALLAGHER ACCESS CONTROL SUPPORT FOR MELBOURNE BUSINESSES
When your access control has a problem, you need it fixed fast – a locked-out team, a door that won’t secure or an alarm that won’t clear can bring a site to a standstill. DUKE Electrical Group provide responsive Gallagher access control support for Melbourne businesses, whether we installed your system or you’ve inherited it from another provider.
Our support covers the everyday and the urgent: helping your team use Gallagher Command Centre, resolving door and reader faults, clearing alarm and lockout issues, adjusting access rights and schedules, and getting you back up and running when something goes wrong.
How we support your Gallagher system
Remote & phone support. Many issues – access changes, reporting questions, configuration tweaks – we can resolve remotely or over the phone, fast, without a site visit.
On-site response. For hardware faults, door problems or anything that needs hands on the system, our technicians attend your Melbourne site, usually within a day and sooner for urgent situations.
Service agreements. Ongoing support agreements give you priority response, predictable costs and the peace of mind that a Gallagher-experienced team is a phone call away.
Don’t wait until a fault becomes an emergency. Call DUKE Electrical Group on 1300 003 853 to arrange Gallagher access control support for your Melbourne site, or to set up a priority service agreement that keeps your system running.

TAKE-OVER SUPPORT
Inherited a Gallagher system with no support in place? We’ll audit it, document it and take over support – so you finally have a responsive team behind your access control.
USER & ADMIN HELP
Not sure how to add a cardholder, run an audit report or set up a visitor? We help your team get the most out of Command Centre, and can complement our online Control4 and C-Bus knowledge base with Gallagher guidance.
FAULT RESOLUTION
Doors that won’t lock, readers that won’t read, alarms that won’t clear – we diagnose and resolve access control faults quickly to keep your site secure and operating.
PRIORITY SERVICE AGREEMENTS
For sites that can’t afford downtime, a support agreement gives you guaranteed response times, regular health checks and a team that already knows your system.
FAQ
Do you support Gallagher systems you didn't install?
Yes. We regularly take over support for Gallagher systems installed by others. We start with an audit to understand and document how the system is configured, then provide ongoing support and, if you’d like, a maintenance agreement.
How quickly can you respond to a fault?
Many issues we resolve remotely or by phone straight away. For on-site faults, response times vary with availability and location, but we can typically attend within a day, and prioritise urgent situations such as lockouts or doors that won’t secure. Service agreement clients get guaranteed priority response.
Can you help us over the phone instead of coming out?
Often, yes. Access changes, reporting help, schedule adjustments and many configuration issues can be handled remotely or over the phone, which saves you time and a call-out. We’ll only recommend a site visit when the job genuinely needs hands on the hardware.
We're locked out of our system – can you help?
Yes. Lockouts, forgotten administrator access and doors that won’t release are exactly the kind of urgent issue we prioritise. Call us and we’ll work to get you back in control of your site as quickly as possible.
What is a service agreement and do we need one?
A service agreement is an ongoing arrangement that gives you priority response, regular preventative maintenance and predictable support costs. It’s strongly recommended for any site where access control downtime would disrupt operations or compromise security.
Can you train new staff on our system?
Yes. As your team changes, we can train new administrators and users on Command Centre – the everyday tasks like managing cardholders, visitors, reports and alarms – so knowledge doesn’t walk out the door with departing staff.
Do you support mobile credentials and remote access changes?
Yes. We can help you issue and revoke Gallagher Mobile Connect credentials, manage Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and make access changes remotely, so you can respond to staffing changes quickly from anywhere.
What information do you need to support our system?
Ideally the system’s documentation and administrator access, but if those are missing – as they often are with inherited systems – we can audit the site, map the configuration and rebuild the documentation as part of taking over support.
